Salon Policies
Hello and welcome!
Please be sure to read ALL salon policies thoroughly before scheduling your appointment.
~ Must Read Before Scheduling ~
Credit/Debit card is required to be added and saved to your profile for cancellation/rescheduling/no-show policy protection . If card info is removed/not added your appointment will be declined/cancelled. ADDING YOUR CARD TO YOUR PROFILE IS NOT PAYING YOUR DEPOSIT. A $32 deposit is required for ALL clients/appointments. This fee is NON REFUNDABLE/NON NEGOTIABLE/NON TRANSFERABLE. The $2 does not go towards your service. Deposit MUST be paid at time of scheduling or IMMEDIATELY after(no more than 5min) in order for appointment to be accepted. NO DEPOSIT=NO APPOINTMENT. Deposit can be sent via ZELLE @ jessonthepress@mail.com or CASHAPP to $jessonthepress1 . NO DEPOSIT = NO APPOINTMENT. All clients are required to fill out a client info form at https://form.jotform.com/210466299555162 for every appointment . NO EXCEPTIONS. Please text/call when you arrive for your appointment. Please text/call when you enter the building for your appointment.
Mask is required to be worn upon entering salon and during service. Please do not arrive for service more than 10 minutes before scheduled appointment time. I allow a 15min grace period ONLY when tardiness is communicated BEFORE scheduled appointment time, otherwise appointment WILL be marked & charged appointment as a no show. All appointments for color an extensions require a consultation at least 48hrs before actual service. NO CHILDREN allowed unless being serviced. No extra guest allowed.

Booking
For your convenience and mine, ALL appointments are required to be scheduled online. Be sure to book for all of the services you will want to receive accordingly. Due to time restraints additional services may not be able to be added the day of.
Also, please be aware that the listed service times are not exact and ALL PRICES ARE STARTING PRICES. It's an estimate in regards to how long it may take to provide each service to each individual client.
Arrival
Please do not arrive early for your appointment unless we've spoken or I've asked you to do so.
Tardiness
I am aware that things happen and sometimes we run off schedule which is why I allow a 15 minute grace period when tardiness is communicated BEFORE scheduled appointment time. After 15 minutes your appointment WILL BE cancelled and you will be charged as a no show.
If you are more than 15 minutes late and I am still able to service you, a $20 late fee will be added to your service total. This is non-negotiable.
Be advised that tardiness causes your appointment to run into someone else's appointment time and could cause my entire schedule to be thrown off. Please be respectful of my time as well as the persons' scheduled after you.
Cancellations
Cancellations/Rescheduling must take place at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time or you will be charged 50% of your service/s price. No call No shows are unacceptable and you will be charged 100% of your service/s price and blocked from future booking . This is NON NEGOTIABLE.
Hair Prep
Services come with shampoo, conditioner and a light detangling.
Please be sure to have all braids, twists and previous styles taken down and detangled before your appointment .
Hair needs to be free of knots, excessive tangles, glue, etc before appointment or there will be an up-charge
Texting/Calling
I commend myself on responding to all calls, text and emails within a timely fashion. However, please allow up to 48hours for a response. Keep in mind that Sunday and Monday are my off days therefore you will not receive a response until Tuesday after 10am
Consultations
Color/chemical services require a consultation at least 2 days before service can be performed. Consultations are $25. This fee does not go towards your service and is non refundable
Kids/ Extra Guests
To ensure I am able give you the attention you deserve during your service, I ask that you do not bring your children to the salon unless the child is scheduled for an appointment. Clients who arrive for their appointments with children( not being serviced)will be asked to reschedule and charged 50% of your service price.
NO extra guests( unless you are a parent of a child) are allowed during the time of your service. They will be asked to leave.
